Michelle Gluck
Certified Pilates Teacher

Michelle found Pilates, rather Pilates found Michelle, during a Summer surfing hiatus from her corporate job in 2004. Having never been much of an athlete or dancer Pilates snuck into her heart and has remained a source and outlet, of creativity, strength and mindfulness. Michelle was trained in Burbank, CA at Center Studio Pilates & Physical Therapy. She incorporates the concepts of Pilates into her daily life from washing the dishes, focusing on connecting the shoulders and core, to driving (with the chin slightly tucked towards a gently lifted heart). She believes this form of exercise is a way of moving gracefully through the day. After returning to corporate business, Michelle recognized the need for a regular mindful fitness practice to combat physical and mental stress. Her passion for teaching Pilates was reignited when a friend needed alternative fitness options due to neck strain from constant computer work. She enjoys teaching playful, progressive moves built around the principles of mindful movement while honoring your body as it is… today.

Stirling Crebbs
Certified Pilates Teacher

Stirling started teaching Pilates in 2009 but her passion for the work began in 1997 after a back injury. Having 2 ruptured disks kept her from doing the things she loved.  Stirling had always been active as an athlete in high school and college, and as an avid runner raising 3 children, she knew she had to find a way to keep her core strong.  Pilates brought her life back to her.  She spent almost every day at the Pilates studio taking classes.  During that time she worked as an artist designing greeting cards and illustrating children’s books, but because of her passion for Pilates, she decided to also become a Pilates teacher. She had to share the love of this work and the benefits she received from Pilates! She feels so blessed to be able to be both a Pilates teacher and an artist - two things that bring her such joy and satisfaction. She will do both her artwork and Pilates for life!

She became introduced to Pilates while working at Miraval and fell in love with the work and how it made her feel in her own body. She knew she wanted to share this with her own clients because Pilates is for everyone! The Pilates Method has kept her fit and strong. Ellen loves living in the desert and feels it was a great place to raise her family.
