Lyssa McPherson

Lyssa McPherson

Master Pilates Teacher
Advance Rossiter Stretch Coach

Lyssa’s Classical Pilates teacher training began in 2004 and in 2014, she entered an Occupational Therapy program at the local college in Corvalis, Oregon. She gained invaluable knowledge and skills in working with individuals with physical and neurological challenges and was ultimately hired to teach Pilates-based movement therapy in a physical therapy clinic. This experience increased her understanding of movement science exponentially, particularly when working with challenging and complex myofascial issues related to pain and dysfunction. She has taken hundreds of additional training hours, including MELT (Myofacsial Energetic Lengthening Technique) and Rossiter Stretch techniques, and integrated these skills with pilates-based exercises into a movement therapy approach she calls FasciaLogic. The FasciaLogic approach has proved to be highly effective at unwinding and reorganizing tissue so the joints can move with less restriction, greater stability, and integrity. Lyssa’s goal with every client is to restore and empower their ability to develop and maintain a healthy, strong, supple, and pain- free body for life.

Michelle Gluck

Michelle Gluck

Certified Pilates Teacher

Michelle found Pilates, rather Pilates found Michelle, during a Summer surfing hiatus from her corporate job in 2004. Having never been much of an athlete or dancer Pilates snuck into her heart and has remained a source and outlet, of creativity, strength and mindfulness. Michelle was trained in Burbank, CA at Center Studio Pilates & Physical Therapy. She incorporates the concepts of Pilates into her daily life from washing the dishes, focusing on connecting the shoulders and core, to driving (with the chin slightly tucked towards a gently lifted heart). She believes this form of exercise is a way of moving gracefully through the day. After returning to corporate business, Michelle recognized the need for a regular mindful fitness practice to combat physical and mental stress. Her passion for teaching Pilates was reignited when a friend needed alternative fitness options due to neck strain from constant computer work. She enjoys teaching playful, progressive moves built around the principles of mindful movement while honoring your body as it is… today.
